"The sweet, full-bodied taste of Beck's Oktoberfest pairs perfectly with the robust flavor of many traditional German foods, such as bratwurst," says Chef Michael Zeller, corporate development chef for Johnsonville Sausage Company. "Beck's Oktoberfest also works wonderfully as part of fall-themed recipes such as German Stuffed Pork Roast with Beer Mustard Sauce, Colorful Fall Harvest Stew, and Gorgonzola Mustard and Brushing Sauce."
To make pairing Beck's Oktoberfest with Johnsonville Brats easy, the two companies have partnered for an October retail promotion offering $2 off any two 16-oz. packages of Johnsonville Smoked or Cooked Sausage, or any two 19.76-oz. packages of Johnsonville Fresh Brats with the purchase of one Beck's 12-pack or two 6-packs (where legal).
"It's a mutually beneficial partnership that really makes sense for Beck's Oktoberfest and Johnsonville," said Julia Mize, brand manager for Beck's. "What could be better than an authentic German brew paired with a juicy, flavorful bratwurst?"
